Personification of dignity?

Here we go again!! I haven’t written anything in a few days, have I? Maybe it’s because I’m running out of ideas? Lol, I’ll leave that for you to decide…:D I’ll just cut the crap and get down to writing something serious, shall I?
Hmmm, the stuff I’m going to discuss today is highly personal and some people may find this stuff offensive. I’ll state for the record that I don’t mean any offense towards anyone, and I apologise with all my heart if someone feels offended. All this precaution is due to the fact that I’ll be talking about something all teenagers quote at some time or the other: Dignity. How many times have I heard, ‘Can’t do that, can’t put my dignity at stake, I don’t want to lose my pride,’ etc etc? It’s scary. I know we all have our dignity and it’s important for us to keep it intact, but I’ve seen many instances of people using their dignity as an excuse to push those that they love away. Come on, people, this is the person you love we’re talking about here! You can beg and plead with them; you don’t need your dignity! Will your dignity check on you at night to see whether you’re doing fine? Will it make you happy when you’re depressed? Can you have loads of fun with your dignity? Is it worth kicking your best friends out of your life for the sake of pride? Well I don’t mind begging and losing face in front of everyone if it means I won’t lose a friend. How many relationships have ended because both members were too proud to apologize? I’ve even known people who fall out with their parents for the sake of pride. Come on, it’s your parents! They know you’re not as sophisticated as you look anyway. So don’t block out your feelings for your pride. It’s f**king ridiculous!!! So please people, think before you put your dignity before the people you love the most. Goodnight!
